The foundation is the AAOHN Foundation Academic Scholarships and focuses on the provision of scholarships to Registered Nurses (RNs) who are currently working on a bachelor’s or graduate degree. This is a scholarship which is given to those Registered Nurses who are preparing for their careers in the occupational and environmental health care industry. The amount of the award varies from $2000 up to $3000 annually. Only an average of two awards a year are given out without the contingency of donations, which would then place it at five nursing scholarships awards available annually.
